Pay scale: The appointment will be initially on contract basis with consolidated remuneration as applicable to the post as per Odisha Group –B posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013 notified vide G. A Department Notification No. GAD-SC-Rules -0061-2013-1147/Gen, dated 17.01.2014 and Odisha Group C & D posts (Contractual Appointment) Rules, 2013 notified vide G. A Department Notification No. GAD-SC-Rules-009-2013/32010/Gen, dated 12.11.2013. The service conditions shall be regulated as per BPUT Act and Statutes framed there under and as amended from time-to-time.
Age: The minimum age for the posts is 21 years and the maximum age is 32 years as on last date of advertisement. However, only the SC/ST /SEBC/Women applicants shall be given age relaxation of 05 years and 10 years for OPH candidates.
Qualifications
Research Analysts :
Essential : MBA degree from the recognized University/ institutions with at least 55% aggregate mark in qualifying examination
Desirable : Publication in relevant areas with IT exposure. Experience in preparation of case studies
Experience : Minimum 2 years
Preference: (1) Good writing and speaking skill in English (2) Working experience in any University / Educational institution / Government organization.
Librarian :
Essential: M.Lib from recognized University/ institution with minimum 55% aggregate mark in qualifying examination and working knowledge of any integrated library house keeping software and digital library software such as GSDL/Dspace/ Libsis
Desirable : M.Phil degree in Library Science and Specialized course in Computer application
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as Asst. Librarian
Preference: (1) Good writing and speaking skill in English (2) Working experience in any University / Educational institution / Government organization.
Jr. Librarian :
Essential: B.Lib from recognized University/ institution with minimum 55% aggregate mark in qualifying examination and working knowledge of any integrated library house keeping software and digital library software such as GSDL/Dspace/ Libsis
Desirable: Specialized course in Computer application
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in responsible capacity in Library of any University/ Educational institution
Preference: Working experience in any University / Educational institution / Government organization.
Peon :
Essential : Under Matric
Desirable: Have elementary knowledge in Oriya and English language
Preference: Working experience in any institution / University/ Government organization.
Examination Fee: The Candidates except the post of Librarian are required to deposit examination fees of Rs. 200/- (Rupees one hundred ) only in shape of the A/c payee DD (Rs.100/- for SC/ ST candidates) in favour of “Biju Patnaik University of Technology” drawn on any Nationalized Bank, payable at Rourkela. The applicant for the post of Librarian shall have to pay DD for Rs. 500/- .
Last date of receipt of Application: The last date of receipt of applications is 22.06.2015. Applications along with the required documents and self attested copies of certificates shall be sent by the candidates by Registered Post / Speed post so as to reached Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Chhend, Rourkela-769015” by SPEED POST on or before 22.06.2015. Incomplete applications may be summarily rejected. The applications would be accepted only by Speed Post; No Hand Delivery is acceptable.
