POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India and a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete inter-State transmission system and operation of National & Regional Power Grids. SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process shall consist of Scrutiny of Applications and Personal interview of shortlisted candidates. Applications of candidates shall be scrutinized and shortlisted on the basis of their academic background as mentioned below:
Discipline/stream/ specialisation of technical qualifications, their equivalence in respect
to our specification and relevance for the job description/ profile.
Topic/ Subject/ quality of the thesis(for PhD)/ final project (for M.Tech) as judged from
the abstract/ synopsis sent by the candidates
Marks obtained by the candidate in the essential qualification (for M.Tech )
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
The Corporation offers a very attractive package and is one of the best in the Industry. Selected
candidates will be placed in the pay scale of INR 24900-50500. The CTC* per annum approximately
shall be INR 14.02 Lakhs.
Compensation package includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perquisites and Allowance as per
cafeteria approach, Performance Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation / Company Quarters
or HRA, Reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, mobile facility, etc.
The Corporation also offers excellent facilities like Short and Long term Loans & Advances including
