Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the
Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. THSTI is developed as a part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad, in the National Capital Region. THSTI is designed as a dynamic, interactive organization with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into tangible products to improve human health.
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following positions:
(1)Name of the post: Enterprise Development Specialist
No. of positions: One
Maximum monthly consolidated emoluments: (Upto) Rs. 80,000/-
Age Limit: 45 years
Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech/ MBA with basic degree in Science or Engineering and at least 5 ears’ experience in multidisciplinary research, innovation set-up and management.
(2)Name of the post: Business Development Officer
No. of positions: One position
Maximum monthly consolidated emoluments: (Upto) Rs. 80,000/-
Age Limit: 45 years
Qualifications: M.Tech/ MBBS/ M.Sc., or MBA in Business or Marketing with basic degree in Biology or Engineering related fields. AND 5 years’ experience in Business Development role primarily in diagnostic/devices in medical biotechnology industry.
(3) Name of the post: Chief Scientific Officer
No. of positions:One
Maximum monthly consolidated emoluments: (Upto) Rs. 80,000/-
Age Limit: 50 years
Qualifications: MD/ Ph.D in any branch of Life Sciences/ Engineering AND 10 years’ of relevant
experience.
(4) Name of the post: Innovation Awardee (Devices)
No. of positions: Two
Maximum monthly consolidated emoluments: (Upto) Rs.40,000/-
Age Limit: 35 years
Qualifications: PhD with proven track record of innovation in medical devices and implants/
biomaterials/ tissue engineering/ optics/ imaging platforms and medical image processing/ Bioinformatics and Big Data Analytics/ Medical Electronics & Instrumentation/ mobile health technologies biomedical nanotechnology/ aerosol engineering/ microfluidics and photolithography/ machine learning/ Bioprocess Engineering/ frugal innovation in medical technology as evident from research publications, patents, grant funding, products developed and recognitions in field.
(5) Name of the post: Lab Technician (Diagnostics)
No. of positions: One
Maximum monthly consolidated emoluments: (Upto) Rs.20,000 /-
Age Limit: 30 years
Qualifications: B.Sc. in Physical or Life Sciences or equivalent Or Standard 12 with 2 years’ experience in research laboratory.
