Benefits under Council Service: a) These posts carry usual allowances i.e. Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) etc. as admissible to the Central
Government employees and as made applicable to CSIR. Council employees are also eligible for accommodation of their entitled type as per CSIR Allotment Rules depending on availability in which case HRA will not be admissible.
b) In addition to the emoluments, benefits such as reimbursement of Medical Expenses, Leave Travel Concession, Conveyance Advance and House Building Advance
are available, as per rules of CSIR.
c) All New Entrants will be governed by the “New Pension Scheme “based on defined Contributions for new entrants recruited from Central Government Services on or after 01-01-2004, as adopted by CSIR for its employees. However, persons selected from other Government Departments/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings/Central Universities having Pension Scheme on Govt. of India pattern will continue to be governed by the existing Pension Scheme i.e. CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972.
Educational Qualification ( as on 26.06.2015): a) The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. For the post code AFA, the candidate must have studied Commerce as one of the subjects in 12th standard.
Note: All candidates, when asked for, will be required to produce the relevant Certificates in Original such as Mark sheets, Provisional Certificate, etc. as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before 26.06.2015 failing which the candidature of such candidate will be cancelled. The candidates who are able to prove by documentary evidence that the result of the qualifying examination was declared on or before the cutoff date and he/she has been declared passed, will also be considered to have the required Educational Qualification.
Age limit and Relaxations : The upper age limit for the above posts is 28 years (as per Government Orders and as made application to the CSIR).
