Vacancies: 10 posts
Age: Maximum upto 45 years. For those applicants who are educationally qualified and otherwise
eligible and worked in IIIT-A in any capacity for more than 5 years, a relaxation of 5 years in upper
age limit will be admissible.
Essential, desirable qualification and experience for the above post(s), as per serial number, are as under:
1 Essential: (i) BE/B.Tech (Computer Science) or MCA/M.Sc.(Computer Science/Information Technology) with 3 years experience in programming.
Desirable: Proficiency of Programming in C/C++/Java, MySQL/ORACLE with PHP etc. Experience of WINDOWS/LINUX/UNIX platforms.
2 Essential: (i) Bachelor's Degree (at least second class) with minimum shorthand speed of 100 wpm and 40 wpm in computer typing with 5 years of relevant experience and computer knowledge.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer office applications & Secretariat practices.
3 Essential: (i) Master's Degree in Commerce with 03 years experience as Assistant Accountant OR Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with 06 years experience as Assistant Accountant or equivalent post dealing with Finance/Internal Audit.
Desirable: (i) Experience in Central Government Accounting will be preferred.
(ii) Knowledge of current versions of Tally & use of other accounting softwares.
4 Essential: (i) Bachelor's Degree (at least second class) with minimum shorthand speed of 100 wpm and 40 wpm in computer typing with 5 years of relevant experience and computer knowledge.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer office applications & Secretariat practices.
5 Essential: (i) Master Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ documentation or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate, preceded by a consistently good academic record; (ii) Service experience at a reputed Institute for minimum of 05 years; (iii) Knowledge of computers, internet and other recent advances in library operation management.
Desirable: Experience in computerization of Library and library eoperation and e-management.
6 Essential: (i) BE/B.Tech (Computer Science) or MCA/M.Sc.(Computer Science/Information
Technology) OR M.Sc. in Computer Science or M.Sc. in other subjects with minimum 55% marks and 03 years experience in computer work.
Desirable Experience in computer and electronic equipment maintenance.
7 Essential: (i) B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Civil Engineering (for AE Civil) from recognized Indian University/Institute approved by AICTE, with first class or equivalent grade. (ii) At least 03 years relevant experience in the area of Electrical/Civil. iii)For AE (Electrical): The candidate should have
experience of installation and maintenance of Airconditioning equipments and Lifts, DG sets, UPS
Systems etc. OR iii)For AE (Civil): The candidate should have experience in design & estimation, construction & maintenance of multi storage buildings, roads, drains, structural work, interior and all kinds of finishing works, including sanitary and plumbing works.
Desirable: The candidate should have knowledge of computer applications. 8 Essential Degree in Electrical Engineering/Civil Engineering with at least one year field experience OR Diploma in
Electrical Engineering/Civil Engineering with 3 years field experience.
Desirable: Desirable for Civil Engineering: Experience in design & estimation, construction &
maintenance of buildings, roads, drains, structural work including sanitary and plumbing works.
Desirable: for Electrical Engineering: Experience in operation & maintenance of 33 KV substations, relays, switchgears, power transformers and instrument transformers, planning, design and estimation of a power system and also internal electrical works of large infrastructure projects, operation & maintenance of diesel generator set.
Examination Fee: Applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs. 400/- for General candidates and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/OBC and Physically Handicapped candidates drawn in favor of "Director, IIIT-Allahabad" payable at Allahabad.
