Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, an Autonomous Research Institution under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, invites applications from eligible candidates to fill-up one post of ACCOUNTS OFFICER (Unreserved)/JUNIOR ADMIN ASSISTANT (Reserved for ST only) on direct recruitment/ deputation basis.

Name of the Post: Accounts Officer

Pay Band: Rs.15,600-39,100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- and gross emoluments of Rs. 57,846/-* p.m.

Age limit as on April 01 2015: Not exceeding 50 years for candidates to be considered for direct recruitment and 55 years, for those on deputation basis.

Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with Subordinate Accounts Service (SAS) Certificate from C & AG OR CA(Inter)/ ICWA(Inter) OR Postgraduate Degree in Commerce, Financial Management from a recognized Institute/ University.

2. Minimum 5 years experience in a supervisory capacity and dealing in Fiance/ Accounts in any Central/State Government/Autonomous R&D or Academic institution/Public Sector Undertakings or reputed commercial establishment.

Minimum five years experience on regular basis in the Grade Pay of Rs.4,600/- or 8 years combined experience in the Grade Pay of Rs.4,200/-, for those working in Central Government establishments.. In case of other applicants, the minimum gross emoluments should not be below Rs.40,000/-p.m.

Minimum three years experience on regular basis in a supervisory capacity, for those working in Postal/ Defence/ Railways accounting services and holding analogous post .

Name of the Post: Junior Admin Assistant (Reserved for ST only)

Pay Band: Rs.5,200-20,200 with a Grade Pay of Rs.1,900/- and gross emoluments of Rs.20,062/- p.m.

Age : Below 27 years as on April 01 2015

Eligibility: 1. Passed 12th class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University with computer literacy for office related applications, good verbal/ written communication skills and adept at multi-tasking.

2. Two to three years work experience in Establishment/ Accounts/ Purchase/ Academic Sections of a reputed Institution/ organization.

Applicant with three years Diploma in Secretarial Practice from Government Technical Board and those with experience as administrative support personnel in the above mentioned areas in a research/ educational institution, will be preferred.

Special Recruitment for the Post of Administrative Assistant/Accounts Officer through Kerala PSC

Applications are invited from qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala State for selection to the following post. 5 Method of Appointment : Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only).

6 Age  : 18 41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.1997 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. No other age relaxation will be allowed.

7 Qualifications: Degree from a recognized university.

8 Probation : Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
